DAWN M. RICCARDO, ESQUIRE

          Attorney Riccardo attended the University of Scranton where she received a B.S. in Political Science with cum laude honors in 1989. While at the University of Scranton she was inducted into the following Honor Societies: Phi Alpha Theta; Delta Tau Kappa; and Pi Gamma Mu. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Widener University School of Law in 1992. While at Widener, she served as a Research Assistant and she was inducted in Phi Delta Phi Honor Society.        

          Attorney Riccardo founded The Riccardo Law Center, P.C. with the Motto "Working on Matters Close To The Heart" due to her belief that no one should have to go through emotional legal matters such as divorce, child custody, support, protection from abuse, alone. Since its' inception. The Riccardo Law Center P.C. has been devoted to helping our client's navigate family law matters.   

           In 2000-2001, Attorney Riccardo was the recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to the Pro Bono Services from the Pennsylvania Bar Association.  

In 2019, Attorney Riccardo was recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction for excellence in Family and Divorce Law.  

         Attorney Riccardo has presented seminars for the National Business Institute and has served on the Family Law Rules Committee for the Lackawanna County Bar Association.  

        She is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

        She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; Lackawanna Bar Association; and the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America. She also serves as a Board Member and Officer for two (2) Non-Profit Organizations.
